trey
how do i animate a camera-correction modifier? i have 7 images key-framed on one camera, but 3 of the images needs the camera correction modifier to straighten out the vertical lines. i want to be able to render all the images in one stroke with one camers. another question: how do i render multiple cameras in one pass without key-framing? plastic
perspective 'correction' doesn't really work for animations. why would you want to do that?
trey
i'm not really animating. i'm rendering 7 different types of views. the designer wants to make sure that they are all 2-point perspectives. so for some of the views, i have to add a camera-correction modifier. which then means i physically have to be here to render the different cameras. plastic
i'm rendering a sequence of camera views with a simple render-queue script. well, it isn't that simple because the script also distributes the scene via ftp to another workstation and sends the rendered images back via email. it's amazing that there is no simple batch rendering built into max... nisus
Hi trey, Don't use that modifier, use this technique instead: http://www.cgarchitect.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=23;t=000003 rgds nisus
abicalho
Modifiers are not animatable in VIZ. You'd need to use the Batch Render Script or use Network render to render a series of camera views. Alexander
quizzy
there is a batch render in MAX... well not excactly but its the video post, set up all the camera's and output files, and hit render, but that's for MAX... not for VIZ.. the way to do it in VIZ is with script in combination with network rendering... disadvantage: you have to write a script and every camera needs a different job advantage: once if its setup, its going to save a lot of time, and you can batch render different resolutions.. Maybe a good one for a general script or something.. if I find the time I'll make one... its not to hard to make I think...
