nodar1978
hello dear friends, could you give me an advice? I'm doing visuals for interior design in 3d studio max, I can make a photorealistic images with radiosity (daylight) when I've got windows in room, and it looks quit realistic, but I can't get same quality if I don't use the daylight lighting (even photorealistic lightings), could you tell me which lightings is a best for closed interiors (without windows) Thank you very much Nodar

Dave Buckley
yep IES lights would be your answer here, these are good aswel because they are physically accurate and each light can represent a light source from the real world, meaning that if each real world light source is replaced with its corresponding IES light, the render should appear as it looks in real life (in terms of lighting anyway) the rest is down to materials etc
