Good luck!

JNoy
I was working with the direct light for volumetric effects, and noticed that it seems to invert when using the VrayPhysicalCamera. I made the light pink, and got green results. When I made it brighter, the scene got darker. I had to crank the light multiplier up to 200 to see it in the scene, and when I did it was basically a solid wall of blue-grey. I've gotten it to work perfectly fine without the physCam, so I'm guessing that it's simply incompatible? Is this a known issue, or do I just have improper settings? jeandelessard
is it for a still or for animation... if it's for still image... fake it with PS.
JNoy
This would be for animation and stills, though I'm trying to avoid a lot of post work and compositing. I made an image that shows the problem I'm having. All the renders are using the physical camera, except the last one.
dagor
vray dosn`t work with volume effect. you can render volume pass for compositing with scanline render.
JNoy
The volume light seems to work fine in VRay, though- just not with the VRayPhysicalCamera. That last image I posted shows how it looks when rendered in Vray through the perspective viewport. The color and different effects of the volume light are perfect until I use the physcam, when everything seems to invert itself.
dagor
you`ll have more control on it in postproduction stage. it realy fast to change color or transparency or add glow on it in post. but if you don`t like how does volume look`s in render - you need to rerender it.
