Munz Posted October 5, 2007 Share Posted October 5, 2007 When you render out RPF files to combustion, do you render out at 8bit, 16th or 32 float. It seems like the highest I would want to go is 16 bit since AVI’s are only 8 bit and Quicktime is 8bit or 16 bit. I was wonder what others have done in the past. Matt Clementson Posted October 6, 2007 Share Posted October 6, 2007 I always render out @ 32-bit float so I have the highest amount of data to work with in Combustion - doesn't matter that the final destination is lower than that, the important thing is that I have everything I *might* need in case of changes down the line.
