baba147 Posted October 7, 2007 Share Posted October 7, 2007 havent seen any tutorial on tiles modeling... by the way, i think its a bad idea to actually model tiles... a floor contains so many tiles and if u model one and copy it then still u will have to weld them together... and if u model them by manipulating edges of single floor plane, then still selection of so many edges will become hard... why not use displacement map??? its best option... besides, in the scene you probably will be focusing on something else and tiles will be there just to add realism...so there is no need to put so much time in modeling something which is not of much importance in the scene.
