keepa
Hi Bugzyfx, looks like your off to a great start, however here are few things I would do imo. Image 1 1) I would show the sides of the building more. 2) The material for the driver ways seems weird - (not sure what material/product it is). 3) I would remove the individual curbs for each parking spot. 4) The pediment on top of the columns looks scary - like heavy winds would take it off the building. 5) Some background buildings or trees behind the fence would help - unless there are none. 6) Show more building and less parking. Image 2 In regards to the Second image there are a few of things that bother me, 1) I don't see a foundation on the house. 2) If this a house it seems very small (if this is not your design, than ignore this comment). 3) The light pole seems out of place - I'm not sure if it's because it seems a bit low. Cheers! Durwin
STRAT
First of all i would drop ALL the free standard commercial textures and start using your own. that includes building materials, trees and foliage, skys etc etc, else your pictures will never progress. Secondly, start appreciating colour, light, shadow and contrast. your images look patched together with standards with no time and effort put into how they should sit and interact with the scene realistically. Your modeling is fine, but what makes or breaks an image is the amount of time you put into your lighting and texturing. it looks like you've spent 75% of your time modeling and 25% of your time on everything else. try turning these figures around. Also, look into advanced lighting rendering (ie, gi, radiosity, ao etc) you have a good bases to build off there
