poklius
Hello, I'm having some difficulties, getting nice reflections on windows in exterior renderings. When I put on refractive material window looks very dark, and doesn't reflect anything, when i put reflective material it looks unrealistic and flat What should i do to get nice reflection and still be able to see through the window, like photos in the attachment? Could somebody post their glass material, scene setup and rendering settings? I'm using 3ds max and vray if it matters, thanks!
alfienoakes
Try this: http://www.aversis.be/extra_tutorials/vray_glass_liquid.htm You can control how much reflection you get by your fresnel IOR.
