bully712 Posted October 9, 2007 Share Posted October 9, 2007 Hi all, I originally posted under the Viz topic asking about 3rd Party Renderers, but now that I'm trying MR I thought I should post here. Long story short: My employer is renovating the office and they want to study IES lighting throughout the building. They also want to see the effect outside indirect lighting will have on the IES lights. Attached is the easy part of the building because the whole wall is windows. I'm concerned about how the light bounces in the other part of the building but I will get to that later. So in the image attached, how do I smooth out the transition between the hard light on the floor to the rest of it? The part that looks like I used the dissolve tool in Photoshop. Don't forget to try the MR A&D material, as things like rounded corners and ambient occlusion can make a big difference (I'm not trying to rush you on your first day mind!). ralopez Posted October 10, 2007 Share Posted October 10, 2007 Great Start Mark Look start changing the parameters on the Initial Fg Density to 3 to 5, it will clearup some of the areas with blurry spot or noise.
