Hazdaz
I am assuming there aren't any magazines dedicated to 3D arch work (not counting the rare issue of 3D World), so what architectural magazines do you guys get??
jackb602
Architectural Review and Detail. They are both pretty expensive (especially when you pay in dollars) but they are worth every penny. I think they are easily the best architectural magazines anywhere. Jack
hughie
What Jack B said. also keep my eye on Frame and Creative Review (though not sure this comes under trade mag but it keeps the juices flowing)

Hazdaz
I'll have to take a look at those mags - neither of their names sound familiar. Are they more aimed at residential or commercial? I personally am more interested in commercial arch.
Tamir
If magazines which deal directly with Architectural Visualization are scarce, you may find what you are looking for - assuming you are looking for informative articles about the art of visualization - in magazines which deal with the digital arts in general: · http://www.3dworldmag.com/ 3D World is a great magazine for all the digital arts. · http://www.cinefex.com/ Cinefex is dedicated to art of visual effects. · http://www.cgw.com/ME2/Default.asp Computer Graphics World is a great resource too. Furthermore, you may want to check out the publications list on the 3D Links website: http://www.3dlinks.com/oldsite/info_publications.cfm As far as architectural magazines,; most of them are concern with the totality of the architectural practice – of which visualization is but a tiny bit – and mostly do not offer a wealth of information for those who are interested in that particular field of the architectural practice. Hazdaz
Yea, I am not nearly as interested in mags specific to visualization - all the ones you listed I have subscribed to in the past or currently do. Of course if there are any other ones, someone please post those too. I was actually mostly interested in overall architecture... specifically interior commercial design, but honestly exterior commercial architecture or even retail design/arch would fall into my line of work too. There is this one magazine called 'Commercial Design Trends' from New Zealand that I saw at Borders that looked great, but being a foreign publication it is quite expensive. Tamir
If that is the case, and architectural magazines are what you're after, I can recommend one magazine that is most concern with commercial projects. It is out of the US and it is named Architectural Record (publish by the McGraw Hill group). Check out their website at: http://enr.construction.com/resources/ENRStore/archsubscribe.asp One more magazine which is a general design magazine out of the UK, but has quite a bit of architectural articles about ultra high end projects, is Wall Paper. You may want to check out their website at: http://www.wallpaper.com/ I hope this is more of the direction you are looking for.
Crazy Homeless Guy
i don't know of any specific arch viz magazines, but at the DVMC they did include a 3dworld supplement that dealt specifically with arch viz. it was interesting and informative. I was wondering if there would be more regular issues like that. I'd pay for a subcription to something like that every month.
