muchhal.sandeep@gmail.com
Dear all, this is in relation to my previous thread of FADING THE MAPS. http://www.cgarchitect.com/vb/25905-help.html replied at http://www.cgarchitect.com/vb/26265-bitmaps-mental-ray-daylight-study.html by help of all urs I had that all solved but a part of it is still going that the colours selected in the editor slot are faded in the rendering. and gamma correction has no impact on it. This is really troubling me up. Guys heelp me out of this. Regards: Ar. Sandeep Muchhal
pixelperfectg
If you're using the log. exposure control then you'll need to square your color swatches in the material editor. For example: Let's say that you want a color of R:0.5, G:0.3, B:0.2. You'll square those numbers: R: 0.5 * 0.5 = R:0.25 G: 0.3 * 0.3 = G:0.09 B: 0.2 * 0.2 = B: 0.04 So to closely represent a color of R: 0.5, G: 0.3, B: 0.2 you'd actually use: R: 0.25, G: 0.09, B: 0.
