Guest nazcaLine
hi everybody. here are some of my recent works. sending to client for revision. i'd like to hear some critiques and comments, so i can improve them. the work includes aldso the exterior view of the building, but i'm not very good at exteriors and the design isn't any helpful. thanks in advance Eduardo
skywalker
Your interior needs more camera angel selections. I see your not rendering in v-ray and if you are, there are some indirect and direct lighting issues. I would consider making your interiors inclosed and placing v-ray lights near window openings and also using a directional light for sunlight. You should also consider composition that creates a dynamic interest and not so much orthographic. Remember having a composition that creates a dynamic feeling also strengthens the rendering. Nic H
I think they are fine for cutaways. The only problem I have with them is the huge amount of evermotion furniture present!
Sketchrender
Thats what the evermotion furniture is for..............making life easier.............
Guest nazcaLine
Thats what the evermotion furniture is for..............making life easier............. yup, that's what they're made for. i usually dont put too much "gadgets", i'm too lazy for that, but this client in partiucular was very explicit about this, he wanted to make the house look "warm". the camera angles asked are just that, cutaways, of course i would have chose another angle, but that's what i had been asked.(they're for a web page) thanks for your suggestions and comments. 3dSol
in the kitchen, the wood shelf on top of the stove could use some work with the UVW mapping, same thing with the wood shelves on the wall in the dining rm, otherwise, very nice! ;o)
cullen
I really like these shots. The only things that really stick out to me are in the living room image, you can see a wireframe pattern on the base. This is a little distracting and makes your cut look paper thin as opposed to a solid section. The other is that the wood table is a little too reflective for my taste. Overall, very nice images. Guest nazcaLine
makes your cut look paper thin as opposed to a solid section yes, well, iforgot to retouch the walls and slabs in photoshop, but that's already been fixed. about the wood, yes,i exagerated in the reflection, i'll fix it next time. thanks for your comments and opinions. kiittea
Nice works.. I have a doubt though how do we make those cut sections... any suggestions in this regard.
Guest nazcaLine
there are several ways. in this case in particular i just modeled the entire room and then activated "clipping planes" in the camera parameters, then just tweaked the distances. very easy.only thing is you should retouch the section in PS to make it all black.
