baba147
This is my first architecture project... and below is my first GI based rendering... created with max8 and vray1.5 rc2...with vray sun. I intentionally left the grass flat as i was just trying GI for first time... now problem is that the picture took 6 hours to render...and i want to lower rendering times while maintaining GI quality...is there any way to fake GI while mantaining quality??? i read a few tutorials on net but didnt get good results... also i was willing to make a fly thru animation but its not possible with such rendering times... btw, this is Administration block of my university
ovzoc
Also give us settings about your GI so that we can tell you what to reduce and save render time... I would suggest Gnomon's exterior with Vray... They are a time savior and great workflow
gfa2
try using vray proxies on your trees and other entourage,,,thats what i would do... Actually proxies will make it render even slower. It's got to be something in the settings. Post 'em and we can take a look.
