thnx.

There would be big wine shelving with alot different bottles. I think caustic will slow down render and will be to small for seeing. But for test and close up i`ll turn it on.

It`s not my main project, so i`ll put here some other stuff from this or another project.

liqud shader pretty simple. It`s like glass shader or something like this.

Diff - black

Reflect Refract - white

FOG - color like yellow or red

don`t like how it works with glass and glossy glass in some areas.

I`ll tweak it later. I thiks i also have problem in geomtry. It would not be seeing with wine shelving but for closup will be.

Nice...I look forward to seeing the final renders. I love that stool. the leather looks great, What's the top material? I can't say anything, the work looks so good, but the one thing I noticed is if the wine bottle is laying on its side, wouldn't there be an air pocket at the highest point. I think they are suppose to be full. besides all that, so good.

ps

thanks for the help yesterday....much appreciated

the top material is also leather, but not so shiny. so, if you don`t recognize it - render is not so good :) i think render must explain all without any comments or it`s not good render )))

it`s hard to explain, about time and quality of project. i know that render is not perfect :) but for this project it`s ok. i can spend some time and make it more good by tweaking materian and light, but i`m going to miss my deadline :)

also i often make realy poor render :) but it`s always depend on budget and money. if someone give me 3$ - i`ll give him picture with 3$-10$ quality render. if someone give me 1000$ - i`ll give him picture with 1000$-1300$ quality ))) it`s business for me.

some words about glass. you are totaly right!!! there must be air!

in final renders there are wouldn`t be horisontal bottles. i put it for test. i have not much free tima for tests so i wasten`t my time for air in bottles )))

and about my model ))

i take my old test scene to explain about my model.

rendertime is big for my noutbook, it was not main aim of test.

here is classic bedside-table. one of reference, render and shaded-wire model.

all equal (same) part (like leg) are instance.

it`s middle polycount model. you can say that it`s ugle, cornered, but!

model is like reference.

model is balanced between polycount and quality.

be notieced, i don`t think about myself that i`m great modeller or visualiser. i just say how i did it. may be it will be helpfull for someone.

this quality is optimal for me. it`s looking good in 4500*3500 render and don`t take alot of memory.

When I have some time I will study the model.

as for it`s hard to explain, about time and quality of project.

I think that is a really good point. Its interesting, all the unseen factors that go into a render. experience, time, money, equipment......sometimes the list is enless. ;)

ahhhhh, you againg ask about material ))))))

yea it is veneer pannel. in real life there will be another material - plastic wich wery similar to veneer pannel. it realy good falsification (simulation) of veneer panel and it reduce the price of displays. also there will be another texture, our designer change it in last moment. i have one of displays in our office. we got one for test ))))

another model that i did some time ago. i can`t finde beauty render. one of test. but i have wire )))) just for bring tread to live.
