I'm on Autodesk subscription but I never installed max 9, it's just sitting on my shelf. Can't wait to get 2008 though, seems like it should be shipping soon. I hope everything goes smooth....how is it that I know better than that though

Yeah I just saw all the hype about max 2008 today (banners everywhere)

I paid for the subcription service but I can't find where to download the latest version. Did I get this subscription thing all wrong thinking that I could upgrade to newer versions for free?

I got an email saying they're shipping. For the subscription customers, have they changed the procedure, or can't you just download the trial and register it with your existing serial number? That's what I did with Max9 at my old office.

I got that email this morning too. I've never tried to register the download...sounds like it would work. I've got the network license version, I wonder if that's any different.
