suthern_boy
Hey everyone! I know this has proabably been asked before, but I can't seem to find it in the General Discussions section. We are currently/slowly getting into taking on ArchViz projects, and was curious to know what are the best/most effecient files to ask for from the client/firm to use in 3DS Max. I would imagine it would be some sort of cad file and you would want the verts to be pre-welded......It would be great if someone could shed some light on which files are really good, file types, and some helpful hints and instructions to be aware of and to ask for from the client. Thanks so much everyone!!
PAWUK
Always work up my own cad drawings, but i imagine you'll probably get half a dozen different workflows posted from people far more experienced then me . So all I can offer in part answer to your question is a link http://www.cgarchitect.com/upclose/VI/default.asp There are several good tutorials on setting up site plans prepairing drawings etc etc.
