DsgnVsualization
Basic Question- How do you make a chair look realistic , with rounded edges? I mean the upholstry , like the rounded arms of a chair or sofa? Thanks
SgWRX
not sure how detailed you want to get, but here's a quick box i made. i extruded the polygons and added a turbo-smooth with 2 iterations. the wireframe shows the box without the turbo-smooth. one neat trick is, i went into sub-object line mode, selected the lines underneath the armrest and increased the "crease" value to 1. otherwise you could get really ornate and draw a line that is curved back under itself and extrude it. dagor
yea, that`s right after smooth i convert model to edit poly and manualy remove all unnecessary edges. so my model isn`t have to much polygons.
