Problems :S

I have problems with VRay on my 3ds Max 9. Some of the materials are not compatible and I wonder what causes this... anybody who knows?

Depends on the material. Anything with a raytrace reflection will give you problems. In general you want to use vray materials when using vray for the best results.

I mean.. when i try to make a VRay material i can't find it... i have to press the "incompatible" button and some aren't even there... that's what i meant..

first of all make shure that your production render is Vray render.

second - hmm, don`t know. may be problem with plugin? reinstall vray

render is Vray render? :S i'm new to this. but atleast i thought it would work on first, second try but no no... I have reinstalled twice... -.-

i mean set your production render in Render dialog (F10 shortcut) to Vray render, not skyline.
