clauco
Try unchecking "Affect Background" into Color Mapping rollout. Good luck!

Lee Eagle
Hey dagor, Thanks for the reply. I am using 1.5RC3 didnt use a phiscamera. only 1 vray light and 1 directional light I tried the gamma correcton - didnt solve the problem... Can you please explain what you meant when you stated: "exposeure control"? I am a newbie to max and vray...
dagor
i mean exposeure control from max enviromen dialog. I never use it, but as i see some people from this forum use it. So i realy don`t know if it can affet background image i`ll test it some later. Back to your problem, try next. reset max. add image in enviroment and render it. Is it burnet or not? I`ll never had burnet images on enviroment. Where you use it in max enviroment or in vray enviromet? Image can be burned if you: 1. put it in vray enviroment slot and set multiplier more than 1 2. change output amount or cureve in bitmap. 3. something else, don`t know right now. so try make it in new scene without change.
