Dave Buckley Posted October 24, 2007 Author Share Posted October 24, 2007 unfortunately i haven't got an old render of it, i uninstalled max 9 when i installed max 2008, so have no comparison, but trust me, its so much easier to get a nice render with max 2008, lots of other little things have been fixed aswel, for example, the model of tower bridge in that render is a sketchup model, all i did was export as .3ds and import into max and voila. when i was using max 9, the import from sketchup was awful, missing faces, flipped normals, so a lot of cleaning of the mesh had to be done just to get a clean import.
