problem with bevel profile tool

I have a lot of problems with bevel profile,

 

I have two splines and no matter what I do, it is always wrong, I rotated profile gizmo and everything else and it doesn't work,

 

can someone tell me what's going on?

Try using the sweep modifier. It's a lot more intuitive, and there are more options in it.

Using bevel profile, you don´t have to place the gizmo to start extruding that shape along any path from that point. Bevel Profile extrude a shape along any path from the first vertex position of that shape.
