Max Masters... Pls Help... :(

Dear MAX MASTERS,

 

I have a query that may require the heaviest of techies in Max to answer; well here goes..

I have a three button mouse (2 buttons + middle wheel),

whose functions I'd like to change from the BUILT-IN DEFAULTS, TO THE FOLLOWING: -

ARC ROTATE is currently ALT KEY + WHEEL DRAG; I want it changed to - WHEEL DRAG ONLY

PAN is currently WHEEL DRAG; I want it changed to -SHIFT + WHEEL DRAG

Any pointers in this regard shall be of immense help to me... THANKS...

Hello Nitin,

 

I'm not a 3dsmax master, but as far as I can tell, there is no way to change that,

at least not through the 3dsmax interface or script. So I'm afraid but you have

to get used to it the way it is. I know sometimes it's a pain in the butt to keep

in mind, that different software uses different setups, especially for the input but

I guess it's good to keep your mind flexible ... trust me, hehe! :D
