Distributing Rendering

Hi, I'm having a problem with V Ray's rendering and I was hoping I could get some help?

My two render slaves are up and running, Backburner Manager says that they have successful registration, I have Distributed Rendering checked in my V-Ray.: Systems panel, with both render slaves checked in the Settings button.

In theory, everything SHOULD be working fine.. but when I go to render, I can only see my original CPU rendering. Does anyone know what's going on??

Also, I'm running Max 8. Thanks for your help!

Is it just a small quick preview on a big scene...

-Everything on your machine is already loaded, and not on a slave...

If you are going with really low settings, mabee your machine has time to do it before the other kicks in. If your scene is big, with big maps, you should at least allow 5 minutes for the other machines to kick in, depending on the speed of the network and the spped/age of the slaves machines.

-When you shoot a render, go on the slave, go to task manager (ctrl+shift+esc) and see if the process chews something, if the network connection of the slave receives something.

-you may also want to check your firewall. I had a similar problem on 2 slaves a few month ago, even if VraySpawner was on, firewall was blocking the process when receiving a job..
