caes4r
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could suggest a solution to a minor problem I am having. I am rendering a walkthrough animation and I followed this tutorial: http://www.spot3d.com/vray/help/150R1/tutorials_imap2.htm I got fairly decent results apart from one aspect - some odd blotches that appear to move with camera, in the same way that spots on the camera lens might. I am new to this technique and would greatly appreciate some advice on how to clean up these marks.
ahmon
Are you using vray? And is every material a vray material? It looks like it i just the purple cabinets reflecting. Try turning the saturation down in the Indirect illumination (GI), closer to 0 or just 0. That should work. Not an expert but that is what it looks like to me. caes4r
Thanks for the reply. I am using VRay and they are all VRay materials. Possibly it is a reflection off something but the camera is panning and the noise follows the camera movement precisely.
dagor
it is color bleeding effect. you use white ceiling and colored kitchen. add more furniture, object to scene and tweak material. or you can use override material and white or gray material in GI slot ))) but it is cheating )))))
DavidR
Are those the final colours?!? That's what you get when the Designer's a tetrachromat
corwin
Try unchecking time independent under the dmc sampler tab. You may also need higher irradiance map / AA settings. There a great tutorial on how to tweak AA here: http://gnomonology.com/tutorial/
