ruds
I downloaded the video tutorial that was about pages / layers. I'm currently using the latest version so the interface in the video (of an older version) didn't really help... I am interested in how to get some better looking renderings in sketchup. I have seen Sketchup + V-ray and honestly all i've seen it looks really horrible.. I think sketchup has it's place and it has a certain style but using V-ray with it just doesn't seem to fit (maybe i'm wrong, not sure)..

bytor
Ruds, I don't know where you looked for Sketchup Vray examples, but there are some very fine examples on the asgvis.com site. They are the vendors for the Sketchup Vray plugin. There are several good options for rendering in or with Sketchup files. Go to this site for Skecthup for help and links to more Sketchup tutorials; http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/ Some sketchup rendering options available; Vray - internal to sketchup via plugin Kerkythea - external via exporter & FREE!!! Maxwell Render - external via exporter Podium - internal via plugin Most of the options have trial versions and a wealth of tutorials / support available through their web sites and forums. I hope this helps, and good luck! Bytor
