lugh000
Hello all! I have recently started building houses from floor plans for a client and noticed something peculiar. I tried to recreate the dimensions of the walls according to real measurements, so I set the Units settings to "Feet with Decimal Inches". But the house looks small and it "feels" small. What I mean is: if I create a camera and starting moving it around, it looks cramped. It feels like the camera is huge in proportion to the room(s). It takes very little movement to go from one wall to another. But these houses are big (50' feet wide or more) The reason I am sticking with correct measurements is in case we decide to use IES lights with specific definition files. Am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated - I am still very new at this.

edgemaster
Just curious..Under unit set up theres a button for System Unit Setup. What is that set to? Mine is set to like 1 Unit=1.0 Inches....That sometimes has a little to do with how max acts with 3d models....
