Billabong
I'm considering taking the VisMasters Online: Creating Architectural Content with 3ds Max. I just wanted to know how in depth these classes are, if anyone has taken any prior classes from Brian Smith. Its only 12 hrs and the outline states that is covers a good bit. Just doesnt seem like enough time to to really explain everything, but I could be wrong. Thanks Brandon
RodT
I would say that Brian's class is second to none. Sharpen your pencils and get a lot of note paper. Your head will swim with all the info you get. It says 12 hours, but Brian will often allow the class to run over taking the time to answer each question. Claudio Branch
I just finished up the V-Ray on-line video tutorials by Brian Smith. It wasn't live instruction, but it was logically structured and very thorough. I came away from it with alot of knowledge. Brian knows his subjects and more importantly, knows how to translate many complex concepts into a usable workflow. That's what makes him a great teacher. bmcgonigle
I took his Architectural Visualization with VRay course and was very impressed. He covered alot of info in the class time periods AND if you missed something you could view a streaming prerecorded version of the class. Highly recommended.
