Anyone know Sketchup courses in Perth Australia

Hi guys,

I'm from Perth Australia, and just wondering if any of you guys know any courses of sketchup in Perth Australia???

 

should I learn this software by professionally or self taught?

I'm a bit of slackers, so I'm scared I can't do it by self taught hey, so do you reckon professionally???

 

is it better to learn sketchup or 3dmax for Arch Visualization???

both, is the easy answer. It depends on what you want to be producing. Pretty pictures and animations then Max, quick study models for design development then Sketchup.

 

Whilst both are 3D modellers each has its own stregths and are more suited to certain products.

 

Sketchup is quite easy to learn and be up and be running in no time at all, so teaching yourself is the way to go.

Max is quite a complex piece of software (I have been using it since dos days and am still learning new things) so I would suggest a course to get you going. The shipped tutorials are excellent as well.

well I've been using MAYA for quite some times now.. so I just need to learn other software for architecture visualization.

 

so what do you think??? I'm not sure yet what will I do.. but because I live in Perth, so not much of animation job around here. On the other hand, there's lots of arch visualization job here. so I need to study more about it.
