visualmusic.4
I'm trying to render out an image and having the strangest problem. If I render anything beyond the presets in the render globals output options, I get a rendering that looks extremely skewed. It's almost like it adds a really small lens to the camera if I type in anything other than the presets, even with image aspect ratio locked... It's acting almost like using my output settings to just zoom in or out on the camera lens rather than making the size of the rendering larger and matching what I've setup in the camera view. I've gone through all of the settings and I can't find anything wrong. I've even compared all of the rendering and camera settings with an earlier file that works. I don't see anything different. What am I forgetting? I'm using v-ray and the standard Max frame buffer... Thanks, Ed
robkar97
Hi, Have you beed working with Camera modifiers? 2-point perspective correction could skew the image if is is setup the wrong way. I don't know about V-ray, but in mental ray you can add "Camera shaders" with lens distortion - have you been using the equivalent in V-ray? Also, check both the image aspect ratio and the PIXEL aspect ratio (normally 1:1). Best Robert
