i can't see irradence map dialog in vray menu

hi everbody, i download a max file , but when i open it and want look it vray settings i cant see " vray : irradence map " menu in render scene diolog menu.

 

someone can tell me why i can2t see and how i can see ?

 

look attechment for vray preset which downloaded max file.

did you use irmap as primary or secondary GI engine?

thanks my frnd it is in first engine. but you can tell me this :

 

file is an exterior scene which is more usefull in first engine ? irridence map or quasi monte ( is in max file ) what is the differences ?

i use irmfap for first and ligthach for second. whis is more useful for you i don`t know. it depends on may factors.

In two word:

DMC (QMC in old version) is more accurate and longer than irmap

irmap is adaptive, not so accurate and faster than DMC
