jinsley
Thank you to anyone who can help in advance... Ok. I have been asked to model and render a development for one of our customers, which is fine. Except that the development consists of a tower, 2 mid-rises, and a cluster of identical townhouses... I'm still a rookie as far as creating MR materials so I tend to use the A&D presets for most of my work. I also only have one computer at the office to model and render on so there is not much time to do a lot of post work. This is what I cam up with for the tower last night... I know I have to fix the screens, but I am most concerned with is the glass. If anyone has any good tips, it would be most appreciated. Here are my glass material settings and the tower render so far...
jinsley
Thought I should add that I am currently using the solid geometry preset...
Francisco Penaloza
well it looks pretty good to me so far, what it is your question about?? what's he problem with the glass?? I always use the default A&D glass material,, if you want more reflection, you have to put something to reflect first. also you can try to put one image in the reflection slot and change the IOR to custom reflectivity, or BRDF and play with the values, aso chek if your window it is double side object or just a flat mesh, you have to check the right option in the A&D material template. jinsley
Thx for the reply, I decided to use the reflection slot which turned out ok... I have a few more days now to do some reading on my own, the DP application is delayed for a week or so.
