Dario Arnaez
Is possible that I'm able to render one time by machine? I mean... I finally could make the laptop use the license (dongle) intalled in the desktop. However now if I can render in the laptop I'm not able to render on the desktop. For to do it I need to wait for the laptop finish and then, I can. How it work this? I was looking the Vray Help and the WIBU Key software help but it doesn't talk about this. Chad Warner
Are you using backburner at all? That's the way you'd want to render on more than one machine.
Dario Arnaez
I wanted, but I'm not sure how it is the thing. I can understand why we have not a PDF with clear instructions, step by step. Is unbelievable that one month ago I had two machines working with different licenses (given by Chaos team) and now with this upgrade, I'm limited to use one license by time. I can believe this!!! dagor
you can share your dongle over the net you can instal license server on another computer in the net check this and try. i realy don`t remember how much license in one dongle. it seams there is no infos about it in official help and chaos site. chaos forum is down so i cant check it. anyway you can ask about license in support chaos group. BrianKitts
it`s not hard to make copy of your key not exactly legal there chief....... Is unbelievable that one month ago I had two machines working with different licenses (given by Chaos team) and now with this upgrade, I'm limited to use one license by time. I can believe this!!! I wouldn't criticize the the software for your inability to properly setup your systems. It seems you may have a small language barrier, but if you ask in a lighter tone you are more likely to recieve help.... Everything you need to know is in the vray manual in conjunction with the max help files for backburner. Yes, it was easier in the past.... but the old system had holes that allowed for replication of the software without proper licenses I wouldn't cut them down for solidifying their technology, vray is an amazing tool and they have every right to properly control their product. rivoli
Is unbelievable that one month ago I had two machines working with different licenses (given by Chaos team) and now with this upgrade, I'm limited to use one license by time. I can believe this!!! well I guess when chaos handed you the second authorization code, they didn't mean for you to keep using the same copy of vray on another machine at the same time. there's nothing unbelievable about using a single copy of a software for which you have a single license. and yes, you're limited to a full running copy of vray, 10 nodes for DR, and unlimited nodes via backburner (like max).
