Guest hajer
Hiall Pleas post ur links for the best architectural animation u have scene so far on the net. The resin for this request is because I rarely come a cross a good architectural animations. Most of what I have seen so far is those jerky walk throws that looks like old Hollywood Movies. Any one came across something different?
STRAT
i havent as yet come across any on the web due to the sheer nature of the beast! even down loadable anims are usually taylored to suit isp's and web server space. i have numerous clean and smooth high grade architectural anims i've created in work over the years, but being usually well over 100 mb each they totally unsuitable for web distribution
quizzy
hey strat, is that in DivX format?? if not..do it! well I could host one or two animation I have a 200MB webspace and a 4GB data transfer limit.. just my 3 cents
STRAT
even with divx they're still sizable. how do i get them off my pc onto ur server without pissing off the rest of the ppl in my office when i give our server a hurnia doing it?
quizzy
what about a ftp-account?? and uploading it at night??
STRAT
ok. when i get some free time i'll try a couple. but, as i said up there, converting to divx compresses the quallity too much for my liking. i use full uncompressed anims, and even tho divx is good it kinda defeats the object

mbr
If you have Cleaner you could make some smaller, compressed files that are pretty decent (that's what I use to compress them for my portfolio CD, just Sorensen compression, I didn't like the Divx, either, or rather, couldn't get good results). It's nice an quick and you should be able to get it down to a reasonable size. I don't think you'll need to keep it at the res that your clienst needed, and cleaner has the options to make things smaller and compressed, all in one shot (sooo much faster than Premiere!). I'd love to see them, too. I'll do my best to get some of mine up in the near future.
