bmofficer
Hi guys, I am wondering if is possible to save de exr from the vrimg at 300dpi for printing. blowback
bmofficer, I have never been able to get the image converter to work. What I do is use the frame buffer with preview, render to vrimg, then once its done I use view image file from max. You can save it to whatever. Probably the least efficient way but it work for me. But if anyone has better advice. please let me know.
JamesTaylor
just drag and drop the .vrimg file onto the vrimg converter tool.exe (can't remember its exact name and its not infront of me at present) which is found in the programFiles --> chaosGroup --> Tools folder and and it'll convert it for you and save the .exr in the file that the .vrimg is located. you can also use the gui from leles script pack to pull out saved channels, but you have to have these selected as render elements at the time of rendering
