Guest nazcaLine
hi guys been using google sketchup for a while and is awesome but i have a question. when i make my model with little details like windows and doors and other stuff, i use the styles manager and choose one of the hand-made looking styles. the problem is that the lines are so thick i lose the little details. i see some options in the edit tab but none is about making the lines thinner, or "scaled down" so i don't lose so much detail. is there a way to make those lines thinner? thank you very much, i'd really appreciate your help Eduardo
chadw
try turning off profiles under the edit tab (if they are on)..... otherwise you need to create your own style which uses thin lines rather than the default thick lines. that's all I can think of.... iam_doss
...is there a way to make those lines thinner?... You can't do it in SketchUp but you can using LayOut ("SketchUp Model" Window, "Styles" Tab, "Line width" item). See pictures attached...
