gfa2
---------------------------------------------------------------- SHORT TITLE FOR SUGGESTION/BUG/ENHANCEMENT REQUEST ---------------------------------------------------------------- Render elements and split scan lines with Backburner --------------------------------------------------------------- DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF YOUR REQUEST --------------------------------------------------------------- Currently (unless I'm missing something) you cannot send a rendering to Backburner that includes split scan lines and Render elements. I'd like to see that corrected. --------------------------------------------------------------- WHY THIS REQUEST IS IMPORTANT TO YOU --------------------------------------------------------------- I'd like to be able to send a high resolution image to Backburner, have an entire renderfarm work on the single image and save out the separate render elements for use in post compositing work. This work-flow is great when using a single machine to produce the rendering, why shouldn't we be able to benefit from this with multiple machines doing the work? Amen
This would be very nice. And I cannot understand why it is not already implemented. Has anyone found a workaround? Jan
classix
Found a solution at least for Alpha channel. Alpha channel assembling worked with TIF until 3dsmax8. PNG is still working in Max2009. www.einherzfuerpixel.de
