textorius
Hi, All my plants are rendered out in what looks like washed out colors (see attached screenshot). It looks like they have self illumination 100% (doesn't matter if they are in billboard nor hybrid mode). This is not what it looks like when browsing through other billboard-generated plants from EasyNat?. Are they really supposed to look like this when generated? What’s wrong otherwise? I'm in the middle of a huge project where I need good looking variations of billboard trees to be able to generate a forest. Was Easynat a bad choice for me? Maybe Vray and normal map's messing this up for me? Are there problems with Vray and Easynat? Thanks / Ulf Textorius
skana
Textorius, If you are using Vray, use the full 3D EASYnat models, then convert them to proxies...this will render beautiful 3D trees and much faster than using billboard trees...shadows and lighting will look great too! textorius
Thanks skana! I've never tried using VRay proxies, so I didn't even think of that possibility. Thanks a bunch! I'll try it right away.
