aanuit
I want to triangulate a mesh. In 3ds if that's possible, but any other way is also fine. I will try to explain what I want. This is what I want; http://www.cs.berkeley.edu/~flab/cs294-5/project2/mesh.html A few examples of the desired result; The first picture on this page... http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~quake/triangle.html The first Picture on this page... http://www.cs.berkeley.edu/~jrs/meshf99/ I know every 3d object is made out of triangles, but if you look at the pictures, you know it's something else I want. notamondayfan
have you tried the tesselate modifier? (also available in edit poly) you could manually create the triangles too.

Tesselate and Subdivide will get you there if you already have a mesh to work with. Otherwise, are you talking about triangulating a mesh out of data points or contour lines?
