I agree with you messepants. You bought and own the DVDs so it's up to you to decide if you want to get rid of them. They are great DVDs and they explain alot, but if you are done using them then there shouldn't be a problem reselling so someone else can learn from them.

Not making any judgment calls here or anything, just thought

you may like to hear the story from the 'other' side, as it were.

I agree with you Brian, but just to play devil's advocate...if I sell my car to someone niether the car dealer nor the manufacturer of that car will see a penny of that sale.

Ok i have done allot of research on these training dvds/sites/books, and given my time frame i think the best option for me would be to go with the Vismasters Vray training for Architectural: http://3dats.vismasters.com/static/training/vray/

They seem to cover every single aspect of the program, and focus on interior/exterior examples. And most importantly they delve into material creation.

Since the price is going to cost me an arm and a leg, does anyone have any experience with their programs? or if anyone is willing to resale?

I suppose a more personal analogy would be to consider how

You would feel if you provided work for a client and that client

then sold on your work for another company to use without

either consent or consideration of you.

Regards

Bri

Thats a pretty scary thought.

I assume you can not resell the Gnomon discs, although I could not find anything explicitly prohibiting it on the DVDs I have. The VisMasters training however is copyrighted and can not be distributed or shared. We have opted to only allow a timed streaming license to increase the security of the videos. Thus far it seems to be working. We also trace logins for every account to ensure they are not shared. Also if you gave anyone access to your VM login, you'd also be giving that person full access to your purchase information, user information, your VM points and opening the door for others to purchase software under your name. In otherwords, don't do it, because it's both illegal and unsafe to your personal information.
