ns_darth
Hi! I have problem with noise when I use V-ray light in interior. I tried to solve it increasing gl. sub. but render time goes high. Do you have any advice? tnx
STRAT
what noise is it? reflection noise, area shadow noise etc etc. isolate what noise it is an locally add more samples to the offending emitter.
ns_darth
you mean to rise subdivision on every v-ray light. I'll try that. tnx
Cortex
Try to lower Color Thr in QMC/DMC ! 0.01 or 0.
sile
Don't go lower than 0,01 if you use V ray 1.5 R3 or higher. It could be few things. Could you post your rendering? What do you use as primary/secondary bounce of GI? If you use QMC(brute force) you need very high number of subdivision...but that will slow down render time significantly. ns_darth
I used irr. map: -3,0: HSph sub/ interp samp 60/30: Clr tresh 0.2: Nrm tresh 0.1 light cache: subdiv 1000: sample size 0.02 After I increase Gl. subdivision in rQMC on 2 I got this. And these dark areas...
Hoa Dinh
maybe you use "store IR map" for vraylight. unstick it and increase vraylight subdiv, maybe 20-
sile
thanks for posting pic. increasing v ray light subdivs is always good option. But that will increase render time significantly. Also try to set adaptive amount to around 0.6(in rQMC (DMC) sampler rollout) By dafault is is 0.85.
