Munz
I had the same problem, could not get the rich colors in the marble to show with radiosity. I gave up and turn the radiosity off... Anyone have any ideas?

arch83
Yeah well "learn it" is always sound, although not very helpful advice. The Viz radiosity tutorials are pretty well hidden. Open the tutorials in Viz and go to Land Planning>Adding Daylight (it's in there ) You can also read an intro on getting started HERE Here is a link to a .pdf tutoral prepared by Ted Boardman from a Las Vegas seminar from Autodesk University that I found in my links. HERE That should at least be somewhat helpful. Jeff [ August 01, 2003, 03:28 PM: Message edited by: arch83 ]

steve
This is my sample scene. The floor marble looks washed out and the glass table doesn't look transparent.I added indirect lighting using radiosity override material which only showed with no exposure. Using logaritmic exposure seems to illiminate this light effect.Any advice ?http://www.cgarchitect.com/forum/filepush.asp?file=TEST-RADIOSITY-DAY3-regather31h-sm.jpg http://www.cgarchitect.com/forum/filepush.asp?file=TEST-RADIOSITY5-sm.jpg

Lightning
Have you tried using the Radiosity override material for this problem?
Fran
Hi Steve, What are your exposure control settings? Make sure Daylight is checked. See if adjusting the Physical Scale helps. Also try reducing Brightness. Another thing to try is RGB Output settings for your bitmaps. Lastly, you might have to reduce the saturation of your bitmaps in Photoshop (or other). Nice scene, BTW.
