Stalkie
Hi everyone, This one's got put on hold while they do some redesigns - a bit frustrating as I want to get it finished. C & C would be welcome - there are a few things I need to tweak that I can see but I would welcome some extra eyes... Thanks in anticipation Helen
Aaron2004
Your window reflections need help. They look to much like mirrors. I could never get my windows to look correct, so I started faking it by applying a texture of the 'reflection' and using the 'shrink wrap' UVW to shake it up. Theres a million ways to skin a cat. Stalkie
Thanks for that - yes I've had more trouble with the glass on this one than any I've done before - I shall try your suggestion - I've had trouble balancing too much reflection with making them not look too dark as the building was looking a bit gloomy and forbidding without some brightness in the windows. Any other suggestions of haow to improve gratefully received.. Thanks Helen

alfienoakes
try to put an omni in the house, i think it's an good idea. Hmm... I would stay clear of that unless you have the interior modeled. Sometimes its better to have the windows less reflective, and the interior darker. Look at photos taken of exteriors during daylight and you will see what I mean, especially on smaller rooms like bedrooms etc. I like your roof tiles... How did you do those?. I am trying to get some realistic tiles sorted out myself, and that pattern looks pretty good..
