qwarto
Can anyone help me on some vray settings. I'm using vraysun + vraycamera but my image comes out as black except background. Please see attached image. I'm using vray frame buffer and nothing is ticked. I also noticed that when using vraycam + sun my vraylightmat comes out as black not the usual white. Thanks in advance. jkletzien
What are the settings of your physical camera? I think your exposure, and your film speed aren't calibrated to hit the proper light stop. as a start try: F-Number: 11.0 Shutter speed: 125.0 Film Speed (ISO): 100 Your light material is a similar problem, if you are now using real units, you need to crank up the multiplier in the material try 100 for starters. qwarto
These are my settings: F-stop = 8 Shutter Speed = 120 ISO = 100 vraysun is set as default shadow bias = 0.0 photon = 10 intensity mult = 1.0 size mult = 4 enable is ticked With these settings I think it wont come out as black. jkletzien
Is your sun on, and do you have indirect illumination, as well as the lights in your global switches checked on in the renderer dialogue?
qwarto
These are my settings: as you can see everything look ok until it reaches the rendering stage. The image turns into black. I think I'm missing out on something but can't figure it out.
Island J
Welcome to the club!!!! Congratulations, sun and cam does not work out of the box and you get the honor of sorting through countless posts of a samll group of people who know what settings to change but wont tell you even if there life depended on it. You would think that for $800 that the sun and cam would just work right? NOT Check this out for pointers...and be sure that your max/viz exposure is off. http://www.cgarchitect.com/vb/27245-there-correct-way-do-vray-sun-sky.html
