jkletzien
ASAI's annual exhibition of architectural illustration has its deadline for submissions to be postmarked today. http://www.asai.org The purpose of the show is to travel, publish a catalog and posit Architectural Illustration/Visualization as a viable, valuable, commercial and personal form of expression within the brains of architects and developers. So they value it more as a seperate discipline, and the artists who practice this craft are given more creative latitude. This year I am one of the three jurors, and I would love to have an abundance of great digital work to be in the fight which sometimes has been in short supply. So please consider entering, as your fees go towards a volunteer organization who is fighting for copyright protection, educational opportunities for our small profession, the annual travelling exhibition and a catalog. Nils Norgren
Hi John, our entries are on the way, the jury looks to be an interesting one. I think that having yourself and Dr. Uddin there will make things interesting. I look forward to seeing what comes from this years competition. Good luck, it will be hard, but should be fun also. -Nils
