materials again?

Hello, I have this pb with the materials.. I use as a main drawing, and autocad drawing, and i attach it using the File link manager, coz I still modify stuff inside it, and then reload it in Autodesk VIZ. But after i reload it, the layers it contains don't keep the materials on, I have to asign them again and again to the layers I refreshed. Why is it happening.

I would be really greatful if someone would answer me to this, Thanks.
