Spooner04
You need to look into using proxy's. http://www.spot3d.com/vray/help/150SP1/vrayproxy_params.htm

yudk
i've tried and it's succeed thank you jeremiah for your reply.. but now i had a little problem with how i can put the materials into my object? because if i make it into .mesh. the objects will become 1.and it was hard to put any material in it...especially with different materials... manta
Use the eyedropper in the material editor to extract the materials from the original tree, and then apply them the the proxy, the proxy will retain the original mapping coordinates... Spooner04
We have had success with assigning material I.D.'s to the mesh before we make it a proxy. the mesh will hold these I.D.'s once it is proxied out. You can then assign a multi/sub-object material material to the proxy in the new file and it should work just fine.
