alfienoakes
I used to use Premiere, but havent for a couple of years now.. so a bit rusty. Hopefully I can tap into to someone who is using it now, and save myself a bit of a headache..! I have an animation to put together using Premiere 6. One of the issues I used to come up against was using the incorrect codec for the final animation. It would mean that anyone who had a copy of say, mydvd or the same software as premiere, could read the mpg file. But if they didnt have that same software setup, they would be faced with the "incorrect codec" problem. So my first question it, in Premiere 6, how can I ensure that the animation I create has the most widely used codecs for general viewing compatibility.? I may have a couple more, but if anyone does have any great tips that they have picked up, I would love to hear them. Many thanks..
Ravendark
I export everything from Adobe Premier 6 as an uncompressed avi file and then use windows media encoder to convert to wmv or use tmpgenc to convert to mpg. Generally found these to be fine across a number of pcs.
alfienoakes
Thats a good call actually. I suppose then it uses the windows players codecs, instead of premieres..
