sourabhb Posted December 18, 2007 Share Posted December 18, 2007 hi... i am facing some prblem with rendering vrayproxy objects.....as soon as i am exporing vrayproxy object it looses its original material and converts it to its default object colour(it's not taking material which is applied to it from the material slot)...... .kindly view the attached images. plzzzzzz help me out with this...i am in urgent need of using vray proxy.... Mechadus Posted December 18, 2007 Share Posted December 18, 2007 For that very reason, when I make my Vray proxys, I like to save the proxy (with texture applied) in a .max scene with a copy of the original geometry - then all you have to do is merge from that saved scene into your main scene, and it will come in with the materials applied -Nick Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
