FlyinHawaiian
Once you can start measuring your distance from the origin in miles as opposed to feet, that's when you can expect Max to do some funky stuff. As a general rule, I would take all of my linework and move it to the origin in Cad before importing to Max. Then, jot down the amount that you offset it so that if you ever have to go back to that cad, you can simply type in that offset number and your cad comes in at the exact same spot. ajvbochove
You always should keep an eye out for your origin in AutoCAD. I start of drawing near to the x,y,z = 0,0,0 View --> Display --> UCS icon --> Turn both (On and Origin) on, then you will be able to seen your problem. You can move all your linework or you can specify an new origin (an other besides the World UCS) Tools --> New UCS --> Origin Then re-save your drawing with the new 0,0,0 But it's recommended that you keep an eye out for the World Origin!
