bill drake
Hello! My first time here. I have been given the task of building an icasohedronic globe approximately 30 in diameter. This thing is to sit in downtown Tampa, FL. I was of a mind I could have a frequency of 9, using as panels, equliateral triangles of three foot on edge. The six faces of each half would have 486 panels. I am thinking I may be on the wrong path, here. Please comment, Thank you.
Sketchrender
Dose nobody think this opens a cheap vr experience for clients. Why aren't people excited about this, for 300-400euros you could get this set up.

Combine it with the Crysis level editor and Max models and you've got some interesting possiblities. This guy is demonstrating 3D projection equipment which is expensive but will get cheaper so 2D is ok for the moment I think. I'm suggesting this at University as a research project. We'll see how it goes, it's all about time and I never seem to have enough at Uni. I don't think you can redistribute Crysis to clients but there maybe other options. If you're interested in formulating a working group I'd be interested.
