nelpiper
Hi guys. After some followed critics. That's a new render. Please, more critics as they are priceless. Thanks for watching.
STRAT
you dont need to keep making new threads. just the one will do thank you getting better, but still some issues. first off, change the camera view. i know it's still wip stage, but even so, a decent camera view is needed whatever. secondly, the foliage is better, but it's so uniform. you can see it tiling and repeating dreadfully. give it some variance. thirdly, AA. you have serious aa issues in both the mesh and textures. how about a decent glass material to the glazing too? and make the roof tile map a bit smaller. also, there's no definition in the white window frames and door frames. this is due to low gi settings. to make life easier on yourself, i suggest you at least up your wip quality before you post. make sure the aa is correct and the p.o.v., then we can give you a proper crit. 3dSol
the vegetation close to the wall needs some variation it looks like its a tiling map almost good luck!
nelpiper
Hi guys. That's a new render with AA(low setting) and I changed some of the vegetation to different places. Thanks for watching. Your critics have been of lots of help.
3dSol
hi nelpiper see the vegetation on the side? thats where it needs the variation in color and height, the repetition makes it look weird
nelpiper
Hello gentleman. I have done 2 more renders with a little more diversified vegetation. Please, critics are priceless. Thanks for watching.
STRAT
these images look a million times better with some basic render settings applied i'd pull the camera target a bit higher so we can see the pinnacle of the roof.
paragsm
i think u need to recheck the grass uvw.. According to me grass size is big which is disturbing the proportion of the model.
nelpiper
Hello guys. I changed the angle a little bit to show some o the roof top and I made some DOF. I am thinking about using a soften AA filter to blur a little bit the grass. Would you think that would be a ready for me to render it in a higher resolution and stick to my portfolio? Thanks for watching and your critics are and have been priceless to me!!! Thanks:D
STRAT
i personally think the grass looks fine although, i'd completely get rid of the DOF, it aint needed in a set of images such as this. my main crit left is the glass. it looks like a mirror. it needs depth and transparency. i'd play with the settings a bit and see what comes out. you might even need to place something behind the glass to show depth (ie, blinds, drapes etc etc)
